Pool Together is a simple and ambitious idea.

That if we all take tiny steps of kindness, we can help our town and ourselves.

We’re a partnership of individuals, agencies and organisations from across Hartlepool who want to light a spark in every corner of the town, and remind our communities of how strong and resilient we are when we come together in kindness and friendship.

As we all face tougher challenges in an increasingly disconnected world, now is the time we need each other more than ever.

Too many of us feel lonely and isolated, not connected to our neighbours, without someone to ask for help.

Hartlepool is, and always has been, a town that looks after its own.  A town known for our warmth, humour, and our willingness to help one another. Where people support one another through good times and bad.

Let’s bring that back into our daily lives. Let’s make a conscious effort to look up, connect, and engage with those around us.

There are nearly 100,000 people in Hartlepool. If we act now and spread that thought, attitude and approach we can convert smiles into a community filled with care and connection that benefits everyone.
