Hartlepool Carers is dedicated to supporting the thousands of unpaid carers across Hartlepool—people of all ages who look after a family member, friend, or neighbour who couldn’t manage without their help. Many carers don’t recognise themselves as carers and miss out on vital support, guidance, and opportunities to improve their wellbeing. That’s where you can make a difference.
We’re launching an exciting new volunteering opportunity and we’re looking for people of any age to volunteer their voice. As a volunteer, you’ll attend a friendly information session, meet the Hartlepool Carers team, and learn about the services we provide. You’ll gain an understanding of what an unpaid carer is and the challenges they face every day.
Once you’re confident, you’ll head back into your community and help spread the word. Your role is simple yet powerful: raise awareness, start conversations, and help unpaid carers recognise their role and access support through Hartlepool Carers.
