Recovery Connections

Recovery Connections is a lived experience organisation supporting people in alcohol and drug addiction and recovery.  We employ around 180 people across the Northeast and 90% of them have lived experience within addiction and recovery.

We have a volunteer and ambassador program, and a lot of our staff have come through this way. We are always looking for more volunteers to help and support our people in our communities. Our volunteers are a key part of the recovery process, their help and support the daily running of the organisation by helping facilitate our therapeutic groups, supporting staff on our coffee bike where we give out a cup of coffee in the community for a chat about recovery and their just another person to support our people who are struggling.
